When using this product:
· Do not get into eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water.
· Skin irritation and dryness is more likely to occur if you use another topical medication at the same time.
If irritation occurs, only one topical medication should be used unless directed by a doctor.
· If excessive skin irritation develops or increases, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center.

DIRECTIONS:
Work up a lather using warm water and gently scrub affected areas with washcloth for a full minute. Rinse well and pat dry. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with 1 use daily, then gradually increase to 2 or 3 times daily or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce use to once a day.

Also, our soap has no sensitizers, which may cause red, itchy, allergic reactions on the skin. These sensitizers include lanolin, fragrances of any sort, parabens, and preservatives. Sulfur is also a very effective anti-fungal. The soap is best used in the shower to treat tinea versicolor (white spot fungus disease) which is very common, particularly in people who live in the tropics and subtropics or those who tend to perspire excessively. Tinea versicolor derives its name from the varied colors, which it may form on the skin. The fungus may cause white, brown, or red spots on the skin sometimes to such an excess as to be unsightly. Our gentle CutiCareMD® sulfur soap may be used in the shower daily after the fungus has disappeared to help prevent recurrences of this often-stubborn condition. Sulfur soap is also an excellent treatment for a condition called seborrheic dermatitis, which causes redness (erythema) and scaling over the face (particularly along the sides of the nose, between the eyebrows and in the eyebrows) and scalp (sometimes chest and back) where the body’s natural oil glands are concentrated. Some dermatologists believe that fungal yeast organisms are directly or indirectly responsible for seborrheic dermatitis. The sulfur in our CutiCareMD® sulfur soap will diminish these organisms and over a period of time will help alleviate this annoying and embarrassing condition. Finally, our sulfur soap is an effective miticide (kills mites). Mites are small, usually microscopic (or barely visible) eight-legged creatures. The most common condition they cause in people is scabies. Scabies is an extremely itchy condition caused when the female mite burrows under the top dead layer (stratum corneum) of the skin. Here the female lays her eggs, the eggs hatch over several days, the nymphs and larvae make their way to the surface of the skin, mature, mate, and the mature female (with eggs fertilized) then burrows into the skin and completes the life cycle. Scabies is contagious through skin contact from person to person, and may even live off the body for up to 48 hours under ideal conditions. Our sulfur soap is best used as adjunctive therapy in the shower daily for a week. Leave the suds on the skin for five minutes and rinse. To improve your chances of a complete cure, your dermatologist may prescribe an oral medication to use with the sulfur soap.
